Seth Young is a life long lover of comics and the art medium itself. Ever since he was 4 years old Seth knew that he wanted to work in the field of comics.
Seth is a 2012 graduate from Edinboro University with a Bachelors degree in Applied Media Arts focusing on animation.
He was chosen in 2007 to attend the Governor’s School of Excellence in Art.
Seth currently teaches Comic Creation for Penn State University’s Arts and Crafts Center. He has also taught at McCann School of Art and Hameau Farm Artist Retreat as an artist mentor and drawing/sketching artist.
In March of 2017 Seth was one of the featured artists at the Bellefonte Art Museum with his display focused on Concept and Comic Art. Seth’s art was also show at the State College Hub Gallery.
Seth has volunteered his time and talent by teaching Comic Creation at Schlow Library and the Bellefonte Art Museum.
Seth enjoys drawing character portraits live and has participated at the State College Arts Festival for the past 3 years as well as for the Bellefonte Library ComicCon.
Comic art and Concept art are Seth’s passion, but he truly enjoys helping others develop their skills and love of art as well.
